This combination of face-to-face courses provides students with the capabilities to perform in 3 main competencies required by the mining industry before commencing work on a mine site.
Saturday's Confined Space and Gas Testing course provides students with the skills and knowledge to work safely in a confined space. Training includes selecting and inspecting equipment, risk management, identifying and applying legislative requirements, confined space permits and using an electronic gas tester. Students will also be able to record/report that the working atmosphere is safe before and during conducting work safely in a confined space.
Sunday's Working at Heights course provides students with the skills and knowledge to conduct works safely at heights. Training includes identifying legislative requirements, working at height permits, selecting and inspecting equipment, risk management and performing work activities whilst working at heights.
