Course Overview (Worksafe fee not included)

This face-to-face course provides students with the skills and knowledge to perform the duties of an intermediate rigger, including erecting and dismantling a non-guyed tower, conduct a dual crane lift, install and remove tilt-up panels and demolish a concrete encased steel column and beam.

On successful completion, students can apply to have new classes added to their high risk work licence through WorkSafe WA.

2019 Course Dates

By the end of this course students will be able to:

  • Identify intermediate rigging and associated equipment

  • Identify and control hazards

  • Calculate safe working load limits

  • Erect and dismantle a non-guyed tower

  • Conduct a dual crane lift

  • Install and remove tilt-up panels

  • Demolish a concrete encased structural steel column and beam.
