The Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) National Principles and Operational Guidelines for RPL set out the broad parameters within which RPL should be implemented, to ensure that the quality of RPL assessment matches the quality of other assessment procedures.

A person who has significant experience or is currently working in relevant work area/s, and wish to obtain competency for an accredited course or qualification BUT does not wish or need to complete the full training can be considered for RPL.

An RPL kit is available should candidates wish to pursue this option. Prospective candidates who wish to explore RPL are invited to discuss the process with the Senior Program Coordinator.

Time will vary depending on the unit of competency/course being RPL’d.
