Layher Familiarisation

There is a variety of scaffolding systems used on worksites such as; tube and coupler and quick stage.  Layher is a modular scaffolding system that is German engineered. Personnel using the Layher scaffolding system require training to identify the component parts and how to erect and dismantle key designs safely.

WTCWA provides Layher familiarisation training and Verification of Competency (VOC). At the end of the day and on successful completion, personnel will be awarded with a ‘certificate of participation’ and/or a ‘Verification of Competency’ report

By the end of the day personnel will be able to:

  • Identify key components of Layher scaffolding; and

  • Identify the benefits of using Layher scaffolding.

And erect and dismantle Layher scaffolding to the same level as their high risk work licence:

  • Basic scaffold – tower design with stair and/or ladder access.

  • Intermediate scaffold – cantilever.

  • Advanced scaffold – hung scaffold.
